We continue sharing our clients’ reviews and today’s story is told by Philip Kaso, Executive Director of West Virginians for Rational Sexual Offense Laws (WVRSOL).
West Virginians for Rational Sexual Offense Laws (WVRSOL) was established in 2020 as an unincorporated non-profit association and affiliate of the National Association for Rational Sexual Offense Laws (NARSOL). Our primary focus is on increasing public safety by working to reform the oppressive and punitive sexual offense laws that do not serve to protect families and communities of West Virginia. Moreover, we work to educate the public and our lawmakers about the real consequences and wastefulness of the sexual offense registry in West Virginia.
As you can imagine, the audience we interact with on behalf of our constituents can be quite aggressive if not downright hostile. Our website WVRSOL.org is regularly attacked outright with denial of service attempts and various other disruptive tactics. In addition to the overt intrusions, we were experiencing increasing levels of unwanted spam (approx. 100 per day), which was preventing us from seeing the trees from the forest so to speak.
